How the Bahrain teachers training college of the National University of Bahrain was established

In the entire Arab, Bahrain has the best public education scheme. It was formed in about 1932. At the time, the Amir of the kingdom of Bahrain understands the importance of education in the society. The educational institutions of Bahrain have established gradually from that time. At present, the National University of Bahrain is considered as the popular and largest public university in Bahrain. Now, the university is shortly called as UoB. However, it is an undergraduate institution.  In specific occasion, the university offers some PhD and master’s program. Actually, this university is the only national education institution in the kingdom of Bahrain that offers varieties of Bachelor degrees with postgraduate and PhD degrees in many subjects.

The BTC (Bahrain Teachers College) is a faculty of the National University of Bahrain. It was established in 2008 by the MoE (Ministry of Education) of Bahrain with the authorization of setting teachers, educational executives, and additional education specialists. In 2005, and eligible with its Educational Reform, the Ministry of Education called for the NIE (National Institute of Education) of Singapore to design and build up an appropriate and advanced teacher training programs for the kingdom of Bahrain. The Nanyan Technological University of Singapore was got the responsibility to design this syllabus by their government. The teacher training programs planned by the National Institute of Education for execution at the Bahrain Teachers College emphasize the precepts of holistic evolution of teacher nominees, purpose-driven syllabuses, and theory-practice associate, meditative communities of practice, benchmarking, partnerships beginning teacher measures, reliable and constructive appraisal, and progress of the teaching profession. These rules have thus become the guts of Bahrain Teachers College's functioning.

The mission of this college is to aid the Government of Bahrain in its attempts to build an A-one educational scheme by amending the quality of education, research and service in the training of teachers, executives, and other education expertise. This college initiates an approach to teacher training that is learner friendly in each level. They emphasize on developing the quality of the teachers by furnishing their theoretical and practical knowledge. It also improves the communication procedure of teachers with the students so that, teachers can easily pass the knowledge to the students in an easy way.
